Blessed to start the Sri Narayan Dham

Acharyaji travelled to the Sri Sidhdata Ashram in Faridabad India. He was blessed to return to South Africa and spread Guruji’s mission

Blessed by Guruma and Madhusudan Acharyaji Maharaj

Acharyaji’s trip at the Sri Sidhdata Ashram was extended from 6 to 21 days. Blessings were received from Guruma and Madhusudan Acharyaji Maharaj (who was the president of the ashram at the time)

First Satsang Held in Durban

After returning to South Africa, Acharyaji began his mission and conducted his first 7 star Satsang in a school classroom with 15 devotees

Till 2018

Up to 4 Satsangs Held a Week

With a thirst for transcendental knowledge 4 different centres were opened in Durban where Satsangs were conducted i.e. Phoenix, Chatsworth, Isipingo and Clare Estate. Up to 4 Satsangs were held a week with halls full of devotees

Acquired Land to Build an Ashram

Acquired land on 28 Dunstaple Crescent, Reservoir Hills, Durban. The land was a steep slope filled with trees, weeds, thorny bushes, reptiles, and snakes. There was only a dilapidated house with no windows or flooring, and inhabited by over 20 vagrants. No driveway or any accessibility to the dwelling was available

First Satsang Held on the Ashram land

Almost a month later the first Satsang for Guruji was held under a small gazebo at the ashram premises. This marked the start of the Sri Narayan Dham. Tears of joy can be witnessed on Guruji’s banner

Launched the Sri Sudarshan Goshala

In just a few months the Sri Sudarshan Goshala was officially opened with our two beautiful white Brahmin Gomatas, Lakshmi and Saraswati, taking their residence at the ashram.

Inauguration of the Sri Narayan Dham with Goutham Acharyaji

The Sri Narayan Dham was inaugurated by Goutham Acharyaji, a bona fide Pancharatra Agama pundit of the Sri Sampradaya, according to our proper traditions. The Sri Narayan Dham marked history as the first Sri Sampradaya ashram on the African continent

Consecration of Lord Sriman Narayan Murti

Goutham Acharyaji once again conducted the consecration of the Lord Narayan Murti according to the proper Sri Sampradaya traditions. Lord Narayan has officially taken His residence at the Sri Narayan Dham

Construction & Renovations at the Ashram

Development and construction began in 2018 at the ashram premises. What was once an inaccessible piece of land on a steep slope, with a dilapidated house with no windows or flooring, is now a beautiful ashram in Reservoir Hills boasting divinity to all parts of the world. With having only Acharyaji’s skills and expertise, he single handedly has transformed this land into a blossoming flower in Reservoir Hills, Durban.
